We do not accept insurance, and you do not need a referral. As a result, we are not limited by the constraints of health insurance. If your insurance plan offers out of network benefits, you may be able to submit a superbill for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan. Whole Pelvic Wellness does not communicate directly with insurance providers.
Once we have an initial consultation via a 15 minute phone call we can schedule your initial evaluation and any indicated follow up treatment.
-
Once you have completed a discovery call and decided to move forward with our services, an initial evaluation will be completed, which is 90 mins with follow up sessions of 1 hour.
As a primarily mobile practice, expect treatment to consist of personalized pelvic health care delivered to your home. The provider will come to your house and will bring any needed equipment so you are able to benefit from treatment the same as you would in a clinic space.

Your pelvic healthcare should not require you to navigate traffic, find childcare, or rearrange your schedule. Whole Pelvic Wellness brings individualized pelvic floor therapy directly to your home in the Tampa bay area.
Some benefits of in-home care:
Allows us to provide care in your own environment-looking at your actual routines and daily tasks.
It is convenient with no commute or waiting rooms.
Allows us to look beyond symptoms to understand how pelvic health is directly impacting your daily habits, roles, and life.
-
Yes, if you are comfortable with this, it is fine and safe to do so.
-
While an internal assessment provides in depth information regarding your symptoms you may be experiencing, it is always up to you as the client to decide if that is something you are comfortable with.
-
Yes! While Whole Pelvic Wellness asks that you wait to schedule until after your 1st trimester, pelvic floor therapy is safe an effective throughout. We are able to address many common pains and complains often experienced during pregnancy including but not limited to low back pain, SI pain, leaking, and constipation. Additionally, we offer specific birth preparation sessions in the third trimester to empower and prepare you for birth. This includes things like preparation for pushing, positions and movements for labor, and breathing mechanics and pressure management.
-
You 100% do not have to wait 6 weeks to be seen. In fact we encourage you to reach out as soon as you feel ready. While internal work would always be avoided until cleared at 6 weeks, pelvic floor therapy at this stage may look like early movement strategies, positioning to minimize pain, and education.
